Stone Bruise is a Christian Rock band focused on bringing lyrics expressing gratitude to Yahweh. These nine songs are the first project released in 2025, and part of a trilogy of releases to come. Inspired by musical acts like Black Crowes, The Beatles, Cheap Trick, Bad Company, Vertical Horizon, Switchfoot, and others.
Stone Bruise blends these styles with a modern-rock production that is based on guitars and not programmed drums, synths or sounds that can't be replicated live. The lyrics are undeniably vertical and avoid the "girlfriend" lyrics concept.
Subject matters flow through the new believers trying to make their way, to desiring to be "Near the heart of You" and "I Want to I Need to Be More Like Jesus". There's even a fun little "what if?" song which could be mistaken as The Beatles from 1965. Overall, a pleasant musical tour through classic and modern Rock styles.
